Substation / Transmission Engineer

 

Provide service to an established client base by planning and designing substation and transmission line facilities in the western U.S. Apply safety and design codes and standards, analyze structures or electrical systems, prepare material procurement and construction documents.

 Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Civil EngineeringMinimum 5 years experience in substation or transmission project design through 230 kV Project Management experience in the electric utility industry is desirable, either with a utility or consulting firmP.E. registration requiredCompetency in STAAD, AutoCAD or PLS-CADD is desirableAbility to communicate with clients and project teamDemonstrated technical writing abilityAbility to travel occasionally
