Supervisor II

Lear Siegler Services, Inc. (LSI) is immediately hiring a Supervisor II in support of U.S. Army AVCRAD aircraft maintenance operations at our Groton, CT worksite location. Primary responsibilities and minimum experience requirements to include: Managing and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities which generate labor dollar values between $6.5M and $20M involving 100 to 250 personnel. Bachelor's Degree desired. Minimum of five (5) years as a production journeyman, with at least two years in a supervisory role with project management and budgetary responsibilities of up to $20M annually.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and contract delivery orders. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as man-hour standards and percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks. Job Description : Provide guidance to deliver efficient work procedures, work schedules and production workflow. Monitor contractual delivery orders, contract funds status, customer satisfaction and satellite job sites for contract compliance.Supervise, coordinate, assign duties, provide leadership and review the work of assigned staff and / or contracts for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures. Monitor and foster harmony among the crew complement. Ensures compliance with Company policy and procedures as well as contractural obligation.Review composite reports from individual reports of subordinates prior to submission. Provide guidance to correct errors and complaints. Monitor work sites during and after completion to determine safety, quality and completeness.Monitor the process of work orders, labor time sheets and material requests for accuracy before submitting.Prepare oral presentations and written reports to Program Management as required.
