Take a leadership role in identifying and implementing the product cost reduction plan and all aspects of managing cost. Directs tactical activity within the Supply Chain team to accomplish goals related to material supply, supplier management, inventory control, sourcing, and product cost.Requirements:B.S. degree 10 -15+ years supply chain and material management experience Strong contracting leadership experience with mechanical commodities (sheet metal, electronics, commercial) Significant depth of experience in driving direct material cost reduction Applied materials management experience as an individual contributor or manager High mix, low volume OEM manufacturing experience *Considered a plus: Experience with complex configured product lines and BOM structures Repetitive electromechanical product experience for an OEM manufacturer Technical degree or MBA C.P.M. and/or CPIM certifications Experience with benchmark companies with advanced Supply Chain processes Master scheduling and forecasting experience
