The Research, Development and Engineering facility of Universal Avionics in Redmond, Washington, is looking for a Sustaining Engineering Electronics Technician to join the team.  The qualified candidate will have:AA degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent knowledge through work experience of at least 5-7 years. An ability to work cooperatively in a team environmentAble to work independently in an efficient mannerDemonstrated writing skillsGood communication skillsProficient PC skillsAbility to troubleshoot component level problemsAbility to work within a prescribed process

Preferred qualifications include:SMT rework skillsSupport Engineering Technician work experience (i.e. Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Sustaining Engineering).MS Excel proficiency to graph and present test data

Job description:Setup, operate and interpret results from a standard and special purpose test equipment such as multi-meters, signal generators, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and automatic test equipmentWork with analog and digital circuits, logic circuits, integrated circuits and microprocessorsThis position involves working with multiple departments to organize, investigate, implement, document and communicate product issues.
