Job Summary:Provide Operations Systems Integration for UNIX and Linux based servers.Participate in design/requirements gathering activities.Consult with  customers on design.Analyze planned change requests for impact analysis to server environment and design.Coordinate overall integration of application and delivery systems. Coordinate delivery system change/release management activities.Coordinate and participate in regulatory activities for compliance.Document procedures for new system build activities as well as process improvements.Update configuration databases.Coordinate with peers, server support personnel, end users, focals, program managers, product managers, and vendors as needed.

Job Skills:Desired areas of knowledge (all not required): SAN, HP-UX, Solaris, Redhat Linux, SUSE Linux, AIX, Open Source software, computing clusters, ClearCase administration, ITIL, multi-platform integration.  RS6000/AIX experience desired.

Desired Attributes:Experience in a large and diverse production environment.Positive can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.Ability to provide technical solutions to complex problems.Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer relations skills, reputation as a team player.Ability to work independently, one on one, or in a group setting.
