The Ohio State University Office of Student Affairs IT is currently accepting applications for a Systems Developer/Engineer. The successful candidate will design, develop, analyze, secure and maintain financial, internal controls and budget-related applications and data using ASP/ASP.Net, VB/VB.Net, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Crystal Reporting; provide accurate and timely financial reports to Student Affairs operations; work with Student Affairs Fiscal Support Services to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and appropriate internal controls; design, develop, and maintain various databases; and provide application training.

Bachelor’s degree in related technical, scientific or engineering discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. A minimum of one year experience with Access, Excel, and Word; SQL server or similar database management system; developing web applications; and with ASP/ASP.NET; VB/VB.Net required. A minimum of two years of part-time or internship experience directly related to the duties specified or an equivalent combination of education and experience desired. Salary range: $47k-$55k annually.
