TECHNICAL TRAINER

TECHNICAL TRAINER HP Business UnitJob responsibilities will include:  Promote training program to heating, plumbing, fire protection and industrial piping contractors and distributors, as well as to mechanical engineers and architects  Present technical and sales information to both staff and installers (heating and plumbing contractors) as trainer  Coordinate design and construction of product displays for use at training events  Travel to each training event for on-site coordination  Track expenditures and coordinate funding in-house  Track attendance, collect evaluations and coordinate follow-up contact with attendees  Coordinate hotel rooms, meeting rooms, product samples and literature at each location (including packing and shipping items)  Coordinate the availability of additional presenters for each training event  Coordinate the travel of company staff who will attend the classes Education and Experience Required:  Experience in public-speaking and presenting as part of sales and/or technical training programs required  Experience in creating adult-education training programs preferred  Ability and desire to travel across North America up to 50% of the time required  Experience in the hot-water heating and/or plumbing industries as an installer, designer or technical trainer preferred
