TECHNICAL WRITER/EDITOR - MARKETING

SUMMARY: Position opening in our King of Prussia office for a temporary assignment in support of an industrial client. This assignment will be in the Reading, PA area and will require onsite client support a minimum of 4 days per week for a period of 3 to 4 months. Candidate will support additional work and projects for the balance of the week in our office in King of Prussia. Candidate must possess a college degree in English or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience. Candidate must possess: ·  Excellent communications skills, verbal and writing.  ·  Good computer knowledge is a must, and ability to support all necessary tasks associated with technical writing, editing, data input, etc.    Duties will include ·  Review/edit and input to technical documents such as OSHA written programs and training programs ·  Review/edit and assist in preparing technical reports and related documents ·  Assist in developing and writing marketing materials and brochures   Candidate must be willing to travel to Reading, and travel to the King of Prussia office one day a week if full time employment is desired.    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Candidate must possess an undergraduate degree in English, technical writing, or equivalent.    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, edit and rewrite documents such as OSHA programs, training programs, etc. Ability to search for pertinent facts and data, analyze and evaluate information, and form accurate conclusions. Ability to speak effectively with other employees and clients.   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.   OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Working knowledge of Windows-based personal computers and word processing and spreadsheet software.   REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
