TEE Sensor Componenets EngineerJob ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of the position include: Producing product definition, test, failsafe, and interfacing documentation. Potential supplier review and selection team participation.Work with internal application team to establish design architecture for optimized functional and cost performance. Joint electronic design and development with suppliers and customers.Identify, record, and track key project milestone dates and deliverables and manage the supplier to meet these deliverables. Component characterization and validation.Supplier supervision and customer interfacing.Develop knowledge of proprietary serial bus communication protocol. Assume serial communications validation and troubleshooting responsibilities. Review proposed electronic designs, at the discrete and integrated circuit component level, to ensure complete fault detection and signal integrity. Be the primary interface with internal application teams for the implementation of core circuit blocks to insure compliance to safety requirements.Fault detection validation at component and system levels. Design guidance to achieve a required SIL ranking.Determination of FIT and SFF ratings (including DFMEDA analysis). Identification and correction of non conforming circuitry. Qualifications4 years minimum of electronics design experience within the automotive industry.Experience with failure analysis techniques and tools such as DFMEA, DFMEDA, SIL, FIT, SFF, etc. Proficient in the design and analysis of electronic circuitry at both the discrete component and ASIC levels.Knowledge of simulation development tools such as Matlab / Simulink. Experience with Automotive safety systems fault detection and mitigation practices.Able to travel domestically and internationally. Experienced working with suppliers and supervising multi company development projects. Familiarity with automotive safety systems design practices. EducationBSEE degree required.
