Technical Clerk/Safety Coordinator

 

 

Accountability:to coordinate the development of Company safety system and maintain technical records

 

Duties:to coordinate the preparation and maintenance of the Company safety program, including but not limited to  

· safety statistics, induction and training records,

· safety inductions,

· preparation of safety procedures, safety training material and associated documentation,

· develop and maintain safety documentation,

· maintain relevant industry safety reference material,

· setup and maintain document control system. Maintain all project records,

· set up and maintain computer based and hard copy filing systems,

· maintain drawings, vendor data, maintenance and operations manuals,

· change management records and change orders,

· document register, check receipt and issuance of all documents,

· perform office duties,

· provide clerical and typing services to 8 person engineering team,

· first point contact with regard to office computer system. 

 

Qualification: office duties, document control, computer courses, formal safety training would be an advantage

 

Experience:  3 to 5 years in safety support role plus, and/or 3 to 5 years in technical (engineering) support role
