Technical Writer Needed

Medical Device (preferred) and/or Pharmaceutical equipment or process experience REQUIRED

Technical Writer for Equipment Documentation

 

3 or more years of relevant experience in a technical field where extensive documentation of processes or equipment is required. Experience with documentation of equipment or processes for medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing is desired.

·  Generate documentation for equipment development, design, validation and change control. Maintain procedures that govern equipment documentation.

·  Support equipment development engineers by writing and compiling quality system documents that record equipment designs, control software, and equipment validation tests.

·  Support international manufacturing facilities by providing pertinent documents for reference or guidance.

·  Maintain SOPs, forms and templates that pertain to equipment documentation, to ensure that they dictate practice that meets current regulatory standards and provides efficient means for documentation of equipment development

·  Provide change control documentation support to engineering personnel.

·  Manage and document purchases of basic equipment from vendors.

·  Interact with corporate quality department to ensure complete and accurate content for equipment documentation.

·  Participate in development of IT systems to support documentation of equipment or tooling.

·  Assist MPS with provision of "best practice" documentation.

Minimum - AS degree Technical Writing, Engineering or Science
