Technical Writers

Info Trust Group is looking for a Technical Writers with documentation experience developing, researching and revising system maintenance manuals, component maintenance manuals and /or service bulletins for the aerospace industry.  Special emphasis will be placed on the individual’s ability to develop fault analysis for schematics.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Write manuals and technical documentation to fulfill the customers applicable writing specifications; technical accuracy it essential. Revise technical content of existing manuals specified by engineering modifications.Coordinate all phases of the manual process, by obtaining source data, organizing and interpreting content, ordering art and incorporating parts lists. Work closely with all departments to meet schedules. Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.

 

Education and Experience: Associates degree in electronics or equivalent years of experience/training. Requires three (3) years experience in technical publications. Requires a broad knowledge of aerospace, commercial and/or military technical publications and specifications. Demonstrated ability to read and understand engineering change orders, schematics, block diagrams, illustrated parts catalogs and to write electrical fault analysis sections of the manual. Knowledge of English grammar and punctuation.  Must be proficient with MS Word, Interleaf and/or SGML.
