Our customers are leaders in the high technology, medical, defense, automotive, and aerospace sectors. We are currently seeking a motivated, skilled, and experienced Test Engineer.

 

Position Summary:

 

The candidate will plan and conduct dimensional measurement, testing and analysis of a variety of manufactured components using CMM’s and a wide array of other metrology equipment. Candidate will work in a demanding, high-tech, fast paced, environment where accuracy and quality are prized above all.

 

Job Functions:

 

Develop measurement plans

Accurate and comprehensive engineering drawing interpretation for many types of manufacturing methods and materials for various industries

Dimensional measurement test & analysis using CMM’s and a variety of other metrology equipment to engineering drawings, procedures, and customer specifications

Generate and methodically review professional reports of measurement, test and analysis results

Assist and support other staff with dimensional measurement projects

 

Qualifications:

 

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Test Engineer

Minimum of 3 years experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

Working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5

Working knowledge of various and common CMM and CAD programs

Experience with Vision Systems and 3D Scanners preferable

Dimensional measurement using a variety of metrology equipment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The ability to work with little supervision

Resourceful and creative problem solver
