Test Engineer - Gaming Devices

eclipse Compliance Testing, a leader in testing gaming devices and online systems (amusement games, slot machines, video poker machines, keno, bingo and lottery systems) for use by more than 100 gaming jurisdictions throughout North America, is seeking candidates with Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Network Administration, Mathematics or equivalent technical disciplines.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the test and evaluation of hardware and software of electronic gaming and amusement equipment to ensure compliance with federal, state and tribal gaming regulatory standards.  Familiarity with computer networks and C#/C++ programming is required.  Proficiency in other program languages is a plus.  Applicants must be willing to travel as required to perform on-site inspections and certifications of gaming devices and on-line systems.

 

Excellent verbal and written skills are required.  Our engineers must be able to communicate and relay information directly to and from manufacturers in a clear and concise manner, as well as write approval and certification reports.  Foreign language fluency is a plus but not required.

 

No relocation benefits are offered for this position.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

 

REQUIREMENTS – Test Engineer

Bachelors Degree (preferred) or Associates Degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Network Administration, Mathematics or other equivalent technical degree.
