Tool Crib Attendant

A working knowledge of general hand tools and their applications. The ability to read AFIs, tech orders and manuals. A working knowledge of computer terminal operation. Completion of high school or the equivalent is required. The ability to read and write and to comprehend technical instructions is required. Basic computer skills are required. Possession of a valid driver's license is required. Must be able to lift 45 pounds. Job Description : Provides hand tools, shop supplies and equipment support for the maintenance complex.1. Receives, stores and issues hand tools, replacement tools, shop supplies and equipment.2. Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers.3. Searches for lost or misplaced tools and notifies supervision as required.4. Prepares inventory and requisitions stock as needed.5. Unpacks and stores new equipment.6. Visually inspects tools for wear and defects and will replace as necessary.7. May attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment as needed. : :
