Trans Associates is currently looking to fill a Traffic Engineer position in its Tampa, FL office.  We are looking for qualified candidates with:
Either an M.S. in Civil Engineering or a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 1-3 years of experience.

The Traffic Engineer will have the opportunity to perform the following duties:
Transportation capacity analysis and simulation including use of traffic engineering software programs such as Synchro, HCS, and others. Transportation planning and traffic operations. Access management studies. Preliminary design. Transportation safety studies. Assign and supervise traffic collection duties to technicians. Perform field views and data collection for analysis purposes. Report preparation and technical writing including correspondence with clients, as directed by supervisor. Provide various research for project managers. Provide communication with clients regarding data and issues relevant to projects. Review work performed by other members for quality assurance. Attend meetings with senior staff members as directed.
