As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to lead the design of several high profile projects in the Seattle area.Job DescriptionHNTB's Bellevue office is looking for a project engineer to support signal, ITS, and other traffic engineering design efforts for highway, surface street, and other roadway, transit, and airport projects. The successful candidate will lead the development of conceptual, preliminary, and final designs and supervise the preparation of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Candidates must have an understanding of traffic engineering and ITS communications design, field device installation, and have experience designing traffic engineering and ITS infrastructure in urban/built environments. In addition, candidates must be familiar with pertinent national, state, local, and industry standards.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering plus and 5 or more years of relevant ITS and traffic engineering experience, including traffic signal and signal systems design.
