A mid-sized, multi-disciplinary engineering firm in Northern Virginia is currently searching for a Transportation Department Head.  The firm is in search of an individual with a background in preparing and directing plans for all types of roadways, from minor secondary roads through major arterials and interstates including grade separated interchanges based primarily on VDOT/AASHTO criteria but also MSHA criteria as well.

We are interested in only speaking with individuals who have a true Transportation Engineering background.  PE License Required. The position requires that you participate in business development for the firm while maintaining strong mentorship and management with the current transportation engineering staff.
