We are looking to hire a – CIVIL/ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER I (entry level) for our WALLINGFORD, CT office. The Wallingford Office of METCALF & EDDY | AECOM is a dynamic engineering environment with significant growth opportunities located conveniently between Boston and New York and near New Haven and Hartford, CT.  There are challenging work opportunities for projects in this office as well as in support of our Boston and New York Offices however travel to these other offices is rare.  Our needs are for a civil/environmental engineer with a desire to make a difference in water, wastewater and remediation projects for our municipal and industrial clients.  An Engineer I works under the direction of a Project Engineer or manager in preparing studies and designs of water and wastewater treatment, pumping, and collection/distribution facilities.  M&E strives to expose our employees to the various areas of expertise within our firm to provide a good understanding of the work that we do and the various career paths available.Qualifications• BS degree in Civil Engineering with an Environmental focus, MS a plus• 0-2 years of experience performing wastewater, water or remediation studies, design and construction for treatment facilities, pump stations, and/or distribution/collection systemsBenefitsMETCALF & EDDY | AECOM employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes multiple health care options, educational assistance, retirement benefits including a stock purchase plan, as well as national and international opportunities for professional growth and development.
