WPAFB Customer Service Liaison

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience; 5 years of related experience including prior customer service and supervisory experience; excellent analytical and communication skills required.Experience/Skills: Must have excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must have ability to apply concepts of basic business math. Must have ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Individual must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. At least five (5)-years relevant logistics experience (Government/commercial) in parts requisitioning, reparable processing, and/or coordinating procurement actions is required. Previous assignment to or other direct involvement in/with WPAFB and/or Air Logistics Center operations is desired. Experience in dealing with Security Assistance and/or other foreign customers is desired. Individual must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Must be able to communicate both written and verbally in a multi cultural environment so as to communicate with customers that have limited command of the English language. Must have the ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Must have good interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Previous experience in usage of the Security Assistance Management Information System desired. Other requirements: Must be a US Citizen. Security clearance (Secret) is required. Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card for usage of AFSAC facilities and computer systems. Job Description : Essential Duties:* Normally not assigned supervisory duties for PROS III.* As required by the Customer Service Manager, works with AFSAC Program Management Office (PMO), Command Country Managers (CCMs) and their staffs, and AFSAC assigned Foreign Liaison Officers (FLOs) to promote PROS business and resolve customer problems. * Monitors and analyzes daily transactions from PROMIS for trends and potential problems.* Answers questions pertaining to PROS III narrative messages and providing response thru narrative input.* Responds to Foreign customer/USG requests for unique information on PROS III requisition.* Interfaces with USG personnel to expedite/clarify communications.* Assists CCMs with interpreting PROS III status codes* Requests assistance from CCMs to expedite answers to PROS III narrative messages* Assists in ensuring accuracy of shipment data for requisitions processed on weekly invoice.* Processes customer requests for changes in category of service and for improved delivery dates and facilitating public relations LSLI PROS III representatives shall be selected based on qualification and experience. * Interprets PROS III status codes from receipt thru shipment and preparing, processing and responding to narrative messages.* Accesses sources needed to compile unique information.* Handles customer requests for changes in categories of service and improved delivery dates* Understands approaches to sustaining and improving customer relations.* Highlights customer problems and provides recommended solutions directly to the Customer Service Manager. * Develops close working relationships with AFSAC PMO, CCMs and FLOs. Fosters relationships so that he/she is viewed as an invaluable team member to help them fulfill their requirements.* Coordinate inputs/data in support of meeting contractual requirements.* Develop, process, and submit database reports for technical presentations and meetings.* Helps FLO customers to gain access to and provides informal training on usage of PROMIS ON-LINE. * Performs other duties as assigned by Customer Services Manager, Deputy Program Manager, or Program Manager. : : EOE M/F/D/V
