Serving as a professional staff member of the Government team, the ideal candidate will support key system level activities in the deployment of state-of-the art communication systems. Candidate must be organized and effective in communicating plans, requirements, results, and information to customers at a variety of management levels and technical backgrounds.Experience Requirements8-10 years of practical experience, with prior military service and/or project lead experience being considered a definite plus. Working knowledge of engineering design processes including creation of drawings and specifications related to network/telecommunications infrastructure. Working knowledge of networking principles related to wireless LANs, layer 2 electronics, and physical layer infrastructure.Ability to troubleshoot wireless systems and control software, as well as in- depth familiarity with test, measurement, and analysis techniques.Familiarity with circuit and system-level RF design up to 3 GHz, including synthesizers, amplifiers, mixers, filters, and surface mount design.Ability to relate and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals typical to infrastructure installation projects (designers, end-users, contractors, technicians, etc.).Able to learn and understand emerging network technologies. Previous MATLAB, C/C++, perl, and UNIX or Linux experience.Knowledge of UNIX, GSM, CDMA, 3G, SIM Technologies, Mobile OS standards, digital electronics, DSP, and advanced degrees are all pluses.EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Electrical Engineering with experience in Cellular Network Systems and Security; including familiarity with all of the major interfaces: CDMA, GSM, UMTS, WiMax, etc. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirement: Active SECRET Security Clearance.
