Electrical Controls Engineer

BSEE (or equiv),  Allen-Bradley PLC & HMI experience. To design Electrical Controls for the operation of web processing machinery with AC vector and Servo motion controls.

Started in 1968 IMC is a leader in specific converting technologies for world wide web processing systems used in most industries.

Requirements:

·  5 – 7 years experience in the design & development of electromechanical equipment

·  Knowledge of mechanical engineering, industrial design and AutoCad Inventor [or similar 3D modeling]  software a plus

·  Excellent written and oral skills

·  Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively

·  Thorough knowledge of available technologies to determine best application to solve specific technical challenges

Principle Duties:

1.  Using existing EE standards and design tools create electrical dwgs. & documentation with AutoCad & Inventor software for:Wiring diagrams

o PLC & HMI programming and component bill of materials

2.  Support manufacturing during assembly, wiring and testing

3. Perform initial and field start up or troubleshooting as necessary

4. Meet with appropriate vendors as required

5.  Support sales through application engineering input

 

Salary $70,000 - $105,000 dependent on ability and experience
