Job Description

Performs preventive maintenance on AMF  pinsetters,  Synthetic Lane System, and  scoring system. Repairs and adjusts machinery and scoring system. Daily maintenance of  bowling lanes and oiling machine. Daily care and maintenance of entire Bowling Center facility. Interviews, hires, trains, supervises and evaluates 2 to 3 maintenance assistants (pinchasers). Assists with inventory, ordering parts and supplies, and receiving Bowling Center deliveries.  Maintains inventory of machine parts, oiling and cleaning supplies. Organizes and maintains work spaces (including pinsetter area, shop and office). Works with and around hazardous materials, and maintains current records of applicable MSDS Documentation. Performs additional job related duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Thorough working knowledge of AMF pinsetters, oiling machine, and bowling lane conditioning and maintenance.  Knowledge of all other related bowling products and equipment.  Must have good verbal and written communication skills; must be able to work well with staff, and the public in a highly diverse environment. Ability to use and repair computers and monitors. Must be able to work a flexible shift schedule according to the needs of the Bowling Center. Must have demonstrated ability to train, supervise, and evaluate staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED equivalency certificate preferred. Two or more years experience as an A-Mechanic working on AMF pinsetters, and related equipment indicated above. Two or more years of responsible experience with building trade skills. Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs. or more. Salary open depending upon experience plus benefits.
