Art Consultant/ Key Account Manager

LUMAS has committed itself to the idea of developing a broader audience of art-buyers and collectors. A new and accessible philosophy lets all art enthusiasts discover contemporary photography in the form of high-quality editions by established artists and promising talents from the acknowledged art-academies. Representing 2,000 works by 120 international artists, the LUMAS team of 110 professionals serves upscale local residents, international tourists and both small and large enterprises. At the moment LUMAS operates eleven gallery spaces, located in New York, Paris, and Zurich, as well as in the major German cities Berlin (2), Cologne, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Duesseldorf, and Stuttgart. Our US flagship store opened with 2,500 sqft at 77 Wooster Street in SoHo, New York in December 2006, with great and continuous response. Our uptown gallery will open in the first half of 2008. Between 2008 and 2010 LUMAS plans to expand to the 10 largest cities/urban clusters of the States.   We seek:LUMAS offers consulting services and selling both to private individuals and corporate accounts including Fortune 500 companies. For our NY locations we are looking for an Art Consultant/ Key Account Manager, that will actively address potential customers with various tools of communication. Profound work experience in art, design or interior consulting and sales would be appreciated, comparable businesses would be suitable. Proven track record of highly successful key account management and a significant business network are essential.
