We currently need a skilled, passionate and talented individual to be an Assistant Manager, Retail CW in Universal CityWalk. If you have a proven successful track record in retail and are driven by nothing short of excellence, join our world-class team.This position will support the Retail Store Manager in operating multiple stores that generate profit for the company in a unique and fun environment.The Assistant Manager, Retail CW will be responsible for supervising the personnel of the area and coaching them to help achieve the best guest experience while ensuring maximum returns.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

Consistently update Staffing Services of labor needs.Become part of interview and decision making process.Record monthly performance of new hires during probationary period.Lead individual probationary reviews prior to period end.Assist with scheduled reviews of individual performance.Schedule staff according to written plan, based on operating hours, seasonality, and budget.Input schedules into TimeKeeper system.Monitor and approve TimeKeeper activity for line employees.Track individual attendance patterns.Input weekly labor totals into reports and distribute accordingly.Organize and arrange in-store training for new hires.Schedule staff to attend all applicable training courses.Make recommendations for refresher training sessions for long term employees.Work with manager to provide written feedback on progress and performance to staff.Encourage staff to provide feedback to managers on a regular basis.Qualifications/Requirements:Additional responsibilities to include:

Adhere to store policies, and enforce them consistently.Reward high performance employees on a regular basis.Work full shifts on the sales floor during peak hours.Lead employees to higher productivity by showing them personally.Communicate with staff regularly to ensure a happy, productive environment.

Basic Qualifications:High School education required.Minimum 1 year retail experience.
