Contract Business Development Consultant

Collision Studios is a growing games developer composed of industry veterans from major developers and publishers, located in Marina Del Rey, California. Our team members have experience on all current and next-generation platforms, in multiple genres with both licensed IP and original titles. ABOUT THE JOB:



We have an immediate opening for an aggressive, dynamic and proficient Contract Business Development Consultant who will report to the CEO.  This is a 6-month full-time contract position working 40 hours a week. 

Responsibilities
· Prospect for new publishers and distributors and propose potential new business opportunities
· Develop and manage day-to-day business relationships with publishers and distributors
· Communicate with publishers and distributors to facilitate RFP’s and contract negotiations and close deals
· Assist in preparing marketing and sales materials
· Represent Collision at all trade shows and industry events

Qualifications
· At least 3 years experience in business development or related field in the game industry
· Solid understanding of the video game industry, including but not limited to products, market, development, pricing and product life cycles
· Effective negotiator with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressured environment
· Must be self-motivated, highly organized, and flexible
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
·Able to think creatively and strategically in an effort to establish new  client relationships
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Travel may be required

Salary: Base + Commission
