Food and Beverage Supervisors

Consequently our managers, chefs and sales people are fluent in all aspects of event management.ARAMARK is proud to partner with the Philadelphia Zoo.  Like many other Philadelphia landmarks and institutions, the Philadelphia Zoo is an American first.  The Zoo opened its gates on July 1, 1874. In its first year of operation, the Philadelphia Zoo had 813 animals and received well over 228,000 visitors. Today, the Zoo has more than 1,300 rare and endangered animals, and its attendance is approximately 1.1 million visitors a year. We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisors for the ARAMARK operation at the Philadelphia Zoo.  As a Supervisor for ARAMARK, you will supervise the preparation and service of food and refreshments, as well as cleanliness. Supervisors are responsible for ensuring the proper products are on hand to support sales volume and product mix and accurate physical inventories.  Supervisors manage employees, motivate employees to deliver high quality customer service, and will conduct disciplinary action when necessary.The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years food service industry experience. Supervisory experience as well as the ability to manage in a fast-paced and diverse environment with focus on client and customer service is critical.The Zoo is open 7 days a week and will therefore, require the supervisor to work a flexible schedule that includes some early evenings and weekend hours.  This is a full time, hourly position.  Some supervisor positions are seasonal in duration.
