Regional Field Sales Representative
DirectStarTV is a leading national retailer for DIRECTV® and is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. DIRECTV is the leading satellite television provider in the world and one of the most recognized consumer brands. We are currently seeking a Regional Field Sales Manager to join our team and contribute to growing our young, dynamic company.
The Regional Field Sales Manager is responsible for growing referral-based sales through a nationwide network of partnership channels with local field personnel. This person will be expected to oversee over 15 partner sites in the MD region and help grow these sites through existing referral programs.
This position is ideal for individuals who excel in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Sales professionals motivated by challenging growth goals with the autonomy and support to reach those goals will thrive in this position.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Sales experience strongly preferred
The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, self-motivated sales professional with experience running promotional programs. Extensive early morning travel will be required in the Baltimore, MD region and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities Include:
Grow Existing Programs
· Drive consistent increases in program sales, participation and profitability.
· Manage a variety of promotional campaigns to drive greater participation from program partners; this can include incentives, contests and/or recognition.
· Uncover best practices driving superior performance and instill those best practices across participating program partners and locations.
· Be in constant communication with field offices and key management to keep programs in the forefront and demonstrate DirectStarTV’s commitment to the success of the programs.
· Work with Marketing Managers to develop effective training programs, scripts or other sales tools that increase sales efficiency and productivity.
Relationship Management
· Serve as the central point of contact between DirectStarTV and the marketing partners. Accountabilities include: partner communications, overseeing growth of sales at individual sites, strategic planning and addressing partners’ questions or concerns.
· Maintain a regular in-person presence with field locations in order to drive more sales and strengthen the DirectStarTV relationship with all levels of management.
Program Administration
· External Reporting – Provide partner with all required reporting pertaining to the program(s).
· Internal Reporting – Provide reporting on sales results to management and appropriate marketing managers.
· Forecasting and Modeling – Provide management accurate forecasts of sales and expenditures related to the program or partner. Utilize modeling to predict the impact of program changes.
· Marketing Materials – Serve as the point person for maintaining marketing materials.
