Job Title: SPDE - Senior Financial Analyst

 

Duties include:

 Prepare schedules/reports for the monthly close packages (budget/forecast/actuals), including P&L, cash flow, EBIT analysis, Flash, and account reconciliationsPrepare and review journal entries and provide corresponding source documentationPrepare financial analyses and reconciliations for both balance sheet and P&L related accounts

§ Assist in preparation of quarterly forecasts, budget, and MRPComplete special projects for financial and operating management, as necessaryProvide reporting to third parties and other internal groups, as necessary Provide management support to ensure month-end close is completed timely and accuratelyHelp with vendor payment processing by providing codingContribute to / enhance SPDE consolidated accounting / financial reporting and work flowsAssist in preparation of quarterly balance sheet and P&L review requests to corporate and external auditorsMonitor SPE intercompany activity and balances including research and resolution of out-of-balance accounts, confirmation of monthly balancesAssist in the preparation of all tax packages and requests from tax departmentPrepare monthly financial reporting for the Indian visual effects business, including analysis of data submissions, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, gross profit reporting, and preparation of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet

 

Requirements:

 B.S. degree required, Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent project management, organizational, decision-making and problem solving skills.Ability to multi-task and meet all deadlines.Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting and financial policies and principles.Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Proficient in Excel, Word, experience with SAP preferred.A minimum of 3-4 years public/or private accounting required (Entertainment preferred).
