We need you ASAP to work Special Events in the Winston Salem, NC area!

 

Candidates needed immediately to collect parking fees, make change, count money, direct cars to appropriate spaces, provide general information concerning events, and perform other related work duties as required. Position may have responsibility for patrolling parking areas for security reasons and other unlawful or suspicious activities.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·  Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma

·  Basic knowledge of addition and subtraction

·  Must have good credit history in that this position collects cash and makes change for parking fees from patrons

·  Ability to successfully pass drug screen

·  Possess a clean criminal background

·  Possession of a valid North Carolina Driver's License

·  Experience in dealing with the general public

·  Some knowledge of rules, regulations and ordinances pertaining to protection of public property

·  Knowledge of cash handling protocol (i.e. making change and account for parking receipts/tickets)

·  Ability to welcome, greet and interact with the public

 

Important: Assignments are to be considered seasonal / part-time and will range from 4-8 hours per event. These events could be held during 1st or 2nd shifts. Weekends are required! Some weekday events are available. Hourly pay rate is $8.00 p/hr. and assignments are performed independently and may occasionally involve exposure to adverse weather conditions. Exact checks of receipts with money collected will be reviewed.  All candidates selected for these assignments will be required to purchase a pair of khaki pants from client approved vendor. You will also be required to wear solid black shoes. The client will provide a shirt.
