Senior Accountant

Currently we are seeking a Sr. Accountant for our Westwood, CA office.  This Sr. Accountant will be responsible for various aspects of accounting and financial reporting for all business segments of Sony Pictures Television.  The accounting and financial reporting includes assistance in the preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal/external reporting.  In addition, this Sr. Accountant will be responsible for the following:

 Project support for various financial and operational initiatives.Coordinate with Corporate Accounting, budget/forecasts groups, and other key departments in order to resolve key reporting, technical, and accounting issues.Understand, compile, and reconcile Hyperion/SAP data.Prepare financial analyses and reconciliations for both balance sheet and P&L related accounts.

 

Qualifications include:

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.2 – 4 years experience public and/or private accounting/finance experience.CPA preferred.Entertainment experience preferred.Strong MS Excel skills.SAP knowledge helpful.Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.Strong accounting/GAAP knowledge.Ability to work well with others in a past-paced environment.
