Senior Inventory Analyst

The Senior Inventory Analyst will be responsible for:

 Preparing monthly balance sheet, cost of goods sold schedules and variance analysisAssisting the Sr. Financial Analyst/Manager in preparing the monthly inventory entriesPreparing journal entries to record accruals, allocate expenses and make any reclass adjustments. Analyzing and reconcile inventory balance sheet accounts at the corporate, title and aggregate levelReviewing title and SKU level reconciliation and inventory adjustmentsResponsible for gathering data and preparation multi-branch, multi country Inventory reconciliation at the SKU, format title and aggregate level.Assisting in reconciliation of physical inventory, cycle count programsEstablishing costs review and correct SKU’s utilizing bill of materialsMonitoring daily average unit cost, branch, transfer, analyze for accuracy and correct as neededAssisting the Sr. Financial Analyst/Manager with special requests and analysisResponsible for all data entry in support of the financial processes, including daily posting, maintenance on analytical spreadsheets and schedules, etc. Assisting the Sr. Financial Analyst/Manager in preparing reports for management

 

Job Requirements:

 B.S./B.A. Finance & Accounting degree Proficient level of communication and interpersonal skillsProficient level of project management and planning skillsProficient level of Supply Chain Accounting skills including cost and manufacturing accountingAbility to operate effectively in a cross functional team environmentProficient level of Accounting/Finance skillsStrong computer knowledge in a Windows environment (specifically Excel)Strong knowledge in working with mainframe GL accounting systems 1-2 years work experience a plus (either during or just after College graduation)Entertainment knowledge a plus
