Sr. Business Analyst,

Position Description:

General Summary Participates in the activities associated with the analysis and support of International Home Entertainment’s and International Theatrical’s EnterpriseOne Financial applications. These activities involve performing analysis and design of medium to larger software components and the configuration of a variety of E1 software versions; this includes the designing, testing, debugging and installation of those components and versions.Responsibilities 1. Analysis• Consults with other Business Analysts and Developers to identify and analyze technology needs and problems.• Participates in group application design activities.• Writes requirements specifications for application components.• Prepares estimates for analysis activities.2. Design and Testing• Participates in group design activities.• Designs new complex software solutions according to defined application requirements.• Performs Quality Assurance Testing of applications.• Provides User Acceptance Testing through the general releases of software.• Adheres to department design and testing standards and methodology.3. Delivery and Installation• Prepares pre-release and release process documents including Change Control Plans.• Administers the user signoff process.• Assists the development group with the deployment of new systems.4. Production Support• Participates in production support activities.• Identify complex problems and analyze potential solutions including workarounds.5. Administrative• Works as a member of a cross-functional, integrated team. • Provides assistance and mentoring to lower level team members.• Communicates status and issues to management on a regular basis.• Adheres to department standards, policies, procedures and industry best practices.6. Other Duties As Required Job RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's Degree RequiredKnowledge: • Expert understanding of the EnterpriseOne Financial applications (GL / AP / AR & ACA) & working knowledge on Distribution/Manufacturing Applications.• Experience with GL Company Report writing tool is desirable.• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.• Knowledge of relational database concepts and database management systems.• Knowledge of Entertainment industry business practices a plus. Skills:• Capable of translating complex business needs into functional specifications.• Good verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to create process flow diagrams and flowcharts using Visio or similar charting tool.• Advanced skills in configuring versions in the EnterpriseOne environment. Experience:• Minimum 3 years experience performing analytical activities in the EnterpriseOne environment.• Minimum 2 years experience performing production support activities
