Sr. Business Analyst - Studio Systems Group

This position will be responsible for planning and formulating the analysis of complex business processes for the team. He/she needs to have the ability to assemble, analyze and evaluate data and to be able to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business stakeholders. He/she will work directly the business area to develop and verify software requirements, support various applications, develop solutions that will assist the business area. He/she must be a self-starter and able to grasp the requirements quickly and efficiently. He/she must be hands-on to support the applications and the business area.

Responsibilities:Researching requirements from documents and reportsInterface with the business users to gather, define and document business and functional requirements.Modeling/mapping of business processes ( as-is/to-be) and assist in the business process re-engineering Write detailed functional specifications that explain and convey system/module/screen/field requirementsAssists in the identification of issues, risks and development of mitigation plans and solutionsMapping the requirements to the system functionality, analyzing the impact of new requirements on system designMust have ability to work under pressure with tight deadlinesAbility to communicate with business and technical personnelAbility to work on multiple projects and tasksPerform a wide range of technical duties for various software applications, and other hardware including install, debug, maintain, upgrade, and general support. Evaluate, test, and deploy applicable software and hardware where necessaryWork closely with vendors, IT partners, software developers, architects, DBA##s to provide end-user support and issue resolution. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging tools and technologies. Research, evaluate and recommend system technologies to support business requirements.

Experience Required:Exceptional analytical skills requiredUse Case knowledge is a plus.Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently. Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills are required5 or more years as a Business Analyst with experience in documenting business processes preferred3 or more years of business experience in the area of studio operations/administration4 year degree in Business or Computer Science preferred
