Job Description:

We have an immediate need for a Senior Flash Engineer, with a passion for the web, to join our team of hyper-talented, edgy and eclectic digital media gurus. You will create and maintain Flash applications for our greatest product, www.spike.com . As Senior Flash Engineer, they are responsible for the High-end ActionScript and client-side development for consumer facing internet properties. They will be developing and maintaining coding standards to achieve efficiency in maintenance and portability. This position will work with designers to bring application from wireframe to production implementation. He or she will be monitoring and assessing the ActionScript code written by other team developers. They will also aim to achieve a good understanding of business objectives and be able to translate them into technical design and implementation.

 

Basic Requirements

•Solid high level Flash development experience and Flash application development experience

•Expertise with data exchange (XML, dynamic content)

•Expert design integration experience and GUI development skills

•Creative technical problem solver

• ActionScript v2, (v3 preferred)

 

Preferred Requirements:

Enterprise level deployment experience, knowledge of GoF Design Patterns, experience with Java and JSP are a big plus. Video development experience highly desirable.

Experience with AJAX and CSS highly desirable.
