Sr LAN Analyst

The Sr. LAN Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining server and infrastructure technologies. Will monitor, tune, and maintain LAN components by utilizing Server and Network Management tools and scripts. Maintain production logs and documentation of hardware/software problems, outages and corrective action taken as well as any other pertinent data related to the infrastructure. Will partner with other LAN Analysts on major projects, technology evaluations and critical support issues. Provide advanced level support for enterprise application server and messaging environments. Provides technical assistance to internal departments and organizations. Partner with Corporate Enterprise IT team and other IT teams as necessary. Schedule routine system maintenance and resolve Remedy Help Desk tickets assigned. Flexible working hours and moderate travel is required to participate in an on-call rotation of team members (including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays) for event and non-event driven systems.

The Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and four to seven years experience in an infrastructure systems environment. Must possess intimate knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and the following: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS. Microsoft certifications a plus. Must have outstanding corporate customer service skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven self-starter with the ability to work in both teams and independently to support any project. Will possess a strong desire and ability to increase job knowledge of technical expertise through self study and daily jobs, with the ability to demonstrate solid relationship-building skills across technical and business teams
