Position Description:

New Release Finance The primary areas of responsibility are as follows:1. Ultimates: • Liaison with Deal Analysis, Brand Marketing and on greenlight ultimate• Maintain and update current ultimates• Coordinate weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of ultimate activities2. Planning: • Manage the annual planning process for new release titles• Manage the monthly forecast process for new release titles• Work closely with Brand on marketing p/l approvals• Review and manage the Rental and Retail markets' forecast and reporting3. Analysis• Perform break even and other ad hoc analysis• Perform regression and comparative analysis • Analyze complex financial modelsKey Requirements:• Excellent communication skills necessary for effective communication between Finance, Marketing and Accounting• Excellent finance, analytical and forecasting skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to turn findings into executable plans• Ability to develop relationships and partnerships across other functional groups• 4 to 6 years relevant work experiencePreferences:• Prior home video, consumer products or packaged goods experience• Financial Reporting knowledge• Knowledge of Business Objects Reporting tool a plus
