Training & Events Coordinator

 

This position will be in charge of monthly Success System Training (SST) classes for new franchisees, as well as other training classes held throughout the year for existing franchisees.  He/She will also provide critical support to Events Coordinator to prepare, set-up and execute annual events.  A working knowledge of Audio/Visual equipment as well as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop preferred.

 

Job DutiesPlan, coordinate and execute all HomeVestors Training Classes

o Agenda, Registration, Content/Material Preparation, A/V, CateringManage and Coordinate Team Day and Founder’s DayAssist with Convention, Mid-Year Summit, Leadership Invitational as well as any other events determined by the supervisor

o Room set-up, Material Preparation, Presentation Preparation (PowerPoint, Word, InDesign, etc.), Material Shipping  Manage and Coordinate A/V for all trainings and eventsMaintain giveaway inventory and prepare giveaways for trainings/eventsManage and maintain all aspects of the training library and archivesProvide regular and ongoing written and oral communication with internal and external customers, including franchisees and A/V related customersAssistant to Vice President of Team Development and Vice President of OperationsWork closely with supervisor to collect data and write series of training manual for FranchiseeEvent liaison for all catering needsPerform other duties as assigned from time to timeJob duties may be reassigned based on the experience and skills of department personnel

 

Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (prefer some collegeMinimum of 5 years administrative and customer contact experience (or  equivalent based on experience and education)Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsProficient in writing and editingAudio/Visual knowledge and experienceAble to meet critical deadlines while handling multiple projects simultaneouslyDetail orientation and extreme attention to accuracyComfortable working independently or as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelEvent delivery may necessitate some flexibility in work scheduleEvent delivery may necessitate the ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours a day and lift and carry a minimum of 30 poundsOccasional travel to deliver events
