Website Content Producer

Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc. (“AEG”) is a subsidiary of The Anschutz Company and one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world. AEG owns a collection of companies including multi-use facilities such as STAPLES Center and Home Depot Center in Southern California, several sports franchises including the Los Angeles Kings (NHL) and Los Angeles Galaxy (MLS) and AEG LIVE, one of the world's leading concert promotion and touring companies. AEG is also currently overseeing the development of L.A. LIVE, a 4 million sq. ft. L.A. sports, residential and entertainment district.

Due to our continuous growth and expansion into new markets, we are seeking an experienced Website Content Producer to be an integral member of AEG’s management team in Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing and maintaining all aspects of website development and maintenance.  This includes the project budget, communications, documentation, overall consistency and quality of the brand and product. May also supervise other coordinators and/or webmasters working on web projects.  May lead cross-functional project teams including vendors and internal AEG entity staff.  This producer will also work with the AEG Creative team, other AEG entities and departments, as appropriate.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide clear direction to cross-functional project teams on development and maintenance projects
Communicate with vendors for web projects and maintenance
Lead production and technical development efforts on website projects
Monitor development for adherence to business requirements and guidelines
Manage timelines, budgets and resources for assigned web projects
Deliver ongoing project status reports throughout the project life cycle
Work with business units on business unit requirements and objectives, as required
Maintain site content for assigned AEG properties
Participate in coding, Flash development, and building of websites
Primary point of contact for day to day website maintenance
Provide editorial and graphical direction for online content
Develop visual assets for online marketing
Generate website site analysis reports for AEG properties
Communicate status to AEG and business unit representatives
Promote, educate, and execute development and maintenance methodologies
Assists Director with special projects

Key Skills/Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in website development and maintenance as a producer, project manager, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience with business and Internet development applications
Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and development methodologies
Minimum 3 years of requirements writing, creating user documentation and/or specifications, etc.
Editorial and copy writing experience
Experience in information architecture and user interface design
Extensive experience with HTML, Flash, audio and video tools
Familiarity with mid to enterprise class Content Management Systems

Education:

The following educational background is not required, but is strongly preferred:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
