ANALYTICS ANALYST

406 Partners, a mortgage servicing and real estate servicing firm in Salt Lake City, is seeking an analytics analyst to

Analyze data to identity trends, patterns, value and correlations that could be used to enhance business practices.  Analyze data to support proactive and reactive responses to business needs around data reconciliation, balancing and formula results.  Responsible for managing reports and analysis to provide decision making tools to management.  Model business unit operation practices utilizing spreadsheets and databases looking for opportunities for enhancements.  Forecast the financial impact of making changes and improvements to business operations.

Duties:Oversees monthly and ad-hoc reporting on a daily basisManages translation of corporate objectives into analytical tools while maintaining accuracy and providing leadership within the analytics groupModels business operations  within spreadsheets and databasesforecasts financial impact of changes to business operations

 

Specs:Experience in financial modeling and scenario analysisExperience and comfort with spreadsheets and databasesExperience working with executive managementMultiple years of managing projects and staffAbility to meet deadlines and multi-taskAbility to handle stress and multiple projects with competing interests for timeAttention to detail

 

Educational/Experience Requirements:MBA desired – However, will accept 4 year degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.2-3 years Financial/Business Analysis experience
