As an Account Director, you will:
Identify, develop and close additive product / service sales opportunities (not renewals) through telecalls / e-mail contact, virtual client presentations, face-to-face meetings, proposal generation, and product demonstrations. A primary focus will be made on competitive wins / steals. Travel as needed within a geographic territory and may ultimately be frequent.Team with a territory executive to accelerate the closure of deals.Provide overall support of the sales mission by adhering to Kaplan Financial policies and procedures (Corporate, Divisional, Departmental).Focus on an assigned account / prospect list (as determined by Kaplan Financial Sales Management).
Requirements:
Candidates will have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of consultative sales experience with a demonstrated record of building and growing a customer base with excellent sales results within a leveraged compensation plan weighted toward commission earnings. Technology solutions / services sales experience within the Insurance and / or securities industry highly preferred. Strong client support skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with large demanding client base. Education: BA / BS degree or related field / professional experience required.
