Scope of Job: Manage certain processes related to investment financial analysis as well as, ensure compliance with accounting, reporting and regulatory requirements. Primary focus-areas will be the Watch-list & impairment process, valuations, income recognition & yield validation. Position Responsibilities: Oversee, manage, and coordinate key investment related financial analysis in support of key accounting processes to ensure compliance with related accounting, reporting and regulatory requirements. Manage Allstate Investments’ Watch-list process, including the participating in impairment assessments and valuations. Analysis of yields and income on certain investments. Prepare, review and analyze various analysis and reports for key customers using differing reporting perspectives (i.e., Management, GAAP, STAT, Tax).Required Skills: (skills individual must bring to the job) and skill levels required: - Beginner (has general understanding/knowledge) - Intermediate (has good working knowledge/understanding) - Advanced (is considered an expert)The skills required are: 1. Computer Proficiency: (computer skills needed to do the job) Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, Access, Outlook, Word, SAP or other general ledger applications.
