TD AMERITRADE is an equal opportunity employer LOCATION: OMAHA or DALLAS/FT WORTHJOB OBJECTIVES (not all inclusive):The Program Manager, Active Trader Sales Seminar, is a management level position reporting directly to Director, Trader Strategy. The incumbent is responsible and accountable for the organization and management of the Sales Seminar program activities within the Retail Group. Direct participation in large projects affecting the Sales Seminar program will be required. The level of participation within projects depends upon business need and project priority as it relates to the Sales Seminar program. The incumbent will also provide a full complement of services and support to Retail, Brokerage Operations, Clearing, and other business units. Direct and indirect client contact through the scheduling of seminars and all related activities, as appropriate.The Program Manager is also responsible for miscellaneous other duties as periodically assigned by senior management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not all inclusive): Support Senior Management and other stakeholders in identifying, scoping and prioritizing goals, objectives and metrics for Sales Seminar and related projects Direct the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring the degree to which Active Trader Sales Seminar goals, objectives and metrics are being met Represent Business through project lifecycles, as they relate to the Sales Seminar program Define activities required to accomplish program goals Identify required program team members Clearly and concisely document a project plan Identify key risks and constraints within the project plan Monitor and measure project performance and variance from plan Monitor specific project results to determine if they meet relevant quality standards Collect and disseminate performance information (progress reports) Establish and evaluate metrics for Sales Seminar effectiveness and ROI, providing continuous feedback for improvement Identify potential compliance and regulatory concerns related to program initiatives Identify potential impact to clients, associates, and shareholders Work with subject matter experts from across the enterprise to collect all business requirements necessary to accomplish program goals Assist with and approve complete, easy to understand requirements documentation Coordinate change across the program including scope, schedule, and team membership Collaborate with Corporate Learning and Development and Brokerage Operations Learning and Development to execute enterprise wide learning strategy Coordinate the development and delivery of training curriculum using multiple methodologies and platforms; emphasis on self-paced/e-learning opportunities and simulation Evaluate, hire, develop and lead personnel and outside vendors when required Serve as secondary instructor, backing up primary instructors, when necessary Identify root cause of disagreement or contention and make corrections where necessary Capture, prioritize, and resolve project issues in an organized manner Assimilate and understand the core functionality of information systems used within the companyJOB STANDARDS (not all inclusive): Project management experience preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Series 7 & 63 required. A minimum of three years of experience working within the financial services industry; call center experience preferred Strong project and processes management skills Must be a highly motivated team player who develops and contributes to an atmosphere in which people are inspired to work together, enthusiastically and effectively, in producing outstanding results Must lead by example and be effective working with and through others Must be visionary and strategic in approach to support and enhance the Corporate Strategy Effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written), at all levels Ability to explain projects to individuals with multiple levels of knowledge Ability to represent multiple departments in enterprise level discussions Work on multiple projects related directly to the Sales Seminar program Full understanding of Sales Seminar program, strategy, vision and goals Accountable for the success of the program Ability to analyze a problem, identify viable solutions, and make a choice from among them Consistently produce key results expected by stakeholders while working assigned projects Align individuals and groups within the company to achieve desired results Must be able to work under minimal supervision and be a self starter Ensure we are providing the highest level of service possible to TD AMERITRADE's internal and external clientele.
