The scope of this job is To ensure rate adequacy for all personal auto and property product lines.  The position will be responsible for Conducting reviews of personal auto and property rates for assigned states. This includes analyzing profit and loss results, past and current trends, projecting underwriting losses and reviewing competitiveness of rates. The preparation of rate package proposals and related exhibits. Ensuring the proper review and approval process is used for all rate proposals. Preparing internal and external communications, including that with regulatory authorities and management that describe and support rules and rate changes.  Preparing information for implementation once rate package is approved.Required Skills: (skills individual must bring to the job) and skill levels required: - Beginner (has general understanding/knowledge) - Intermediate (has good working knowledge/understanding) - Advanced (is considered an expert)The skills required are 1.
