This individual will assist the location Model Steward with implementing model changes, streamlining coding of actuarial software and ensuring integrity of models used for all projects; prepares and reviews Cash Flow or Asset Adequacy Testing documents submitted according to corporate requirements; analyzes model output for projects such as Embedded Value including Value of New Business, Quarter-end financials, Cash Flow testing and Economic Capital Modeling; maintains accurate documentation of models; maintains, troubleshoots and enhances spreadsheets used in analyzing and compiling model output for various projects; other duties as assigned.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematical Science or related field, or equivalent work experience; Credit for two or more SOA exams; required advancement through SOA exams to remain eligible for student program; two or more years of actuarial experience; knowledge of life insurance financial reporting standards; strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to express complex mathematical and actuarial concepts to non-actuarial audiences; insurance product knowledge; ability to manage time to meet deadlines; computer literacy, including working knowledge of Windows environment, actuarial software and a strong understanding of Excel; strong analytical skills; ASA or FSA preferred; life insurance modeling experience preferred; experience working with MoSes and/or TAS software preferred.
