American Appraisal, a privately held global firm, is the world leader in valuation consulting services. American Appraisal has approximately 850 employees located at more than 50 offices in 14 countries throughout the world.

This very challenging position is designed to facilitate the flow of work within the business development area. Responsibilities include preparing proposals/engagement letters/contracts, researching and gathering information such as prospective client info & related past experience, marketing support such as direct mail & presentations, maintaining business development databases, coordinating efforts to collect outstanding receivables and general administrative support to the business development team.

American Appraisal conducts work with Fortune 1000 companies and our sales proposals must be professional and error-free. Ideal candidate will have a Communication, English or Business degree or related experience. Other requirements include excellent typing and editing skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Candidates must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, be detail oriented, and able to demonstrate willingness to work within a team environment. Occasional over-time is required and a positive attitude is an absolute must. The individual in this position will have the opportunity to learn new things and will be given increasing levels of responsibility as they progress through the training phase.
