Administrative Assistant - Annuity Unit

The Ayco Company, L.P., a Goldman Sachs Company, is one of the nation’s leading financial counseling firms.  Continued growth and expansion have created an opportunity for an organized, enthusiastic, professional Administrative Assistant in the Annuity Unit of our Wealth Strategies Group located in Colonie.  While an entry level position, due to our robust growth, significant advancement opportunities exist.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Ø  All phases of Administrative duties, including: Typing, answering phones, filing, making travel arrangements, calendar entries, etc;

Ø  Facilitate marketing, enrollment, and application materials;

Ø  Record keeping and data entry;

Ø  Integration of various databases to ensure compliance;

Ø  Logging, sorting, and distributing the units mail;

Ø  Occasional switchboard/receptionist responsibilities;

 

Qualifications:

 

Ø  2-3 years of administrative experience;

Ø  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;

Ø  Excellent organization skills and attention to detail;

Ø  Excellent written and verbal communications skills;

Ø  Self-starting ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently;

Ø  Typing 50 wpm is required;

Ø  Existing experience in the financial field is a plus;
