Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for Financial Planning Company in Southwest Portland

A small, well-established financial planning/employee benefits firm in southwest Portland is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have front office experience, strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills also required. Duties include: greeting clients, answering multi-line phones, managing client records in computer database, handling basic client service issues and assisting staff members in marketing and service areas.Requirements: a minimum of two years front office experience, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Access, PowerPoint and Publisher skills a plus but not necessary. Candidates with experience in the investment or insurance fields a big plus as well. Strong possibility for advancement into a marketing/sales assistant role. A background and credit check will be required.Pays $11-13 per hour. This is a temporary to hire position.
