Take ownership of projects and become subject matter expert guiding senior management and business partners. Typical projects result in recommendations for applicant treatment, new strategies, and process improvement utilizing models developed during analysis. This position reports directly to the Director of New Accounts; receives guidance with respect to general objectives; operates within specific policy guidelines; and uses independent discretion and judgment.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading analytical projects from start to finish – work with direct reports to determine methodology; design and run the process; produce and interpret results; provide and implement recommendationsDevelop and execute decision support tools using benchmarking, scorecard development, profiling, and ad-hoc reportingMaintain an in-depth knowledge of data manipulation and modeling tools as well as business and statistical modeling and forecast techniquesAssist in process implementation and continual improvement to support strategic goals. Understand decision engines and strategy deploymentWork closely with field units and systems teams to ensure strategic alignment across processesSKILLSRequired: Bachelors degree and five to seven years experience in applying statistical analysis to real business resultsMasters degree or higher with two-plus years of direct credit card or other financial industry experience preferredSAS and MS Office capability essential; knowledge of Teradata, Model Builder, and/or Cognos a plus Desired: Click here to apply:
