HighlightsAIG Job ID: AML-FSCPosition Type: Full Time - RegularLocation: GA-AtlantaRelocation: NoRequirementsEducation: BachelorsExperience: 1-2 yearsDescription: The primary responsibilities of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Analyst are:• To support the AML Compliance Officer’s role in helping to ensure that the AML program is effective and compliant.• To assess the firm’s adherence to AML and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) rules, regulations and policies and through a number of systems and programs monitor account opening and account activity to ensure that accounts are in compliance to the firms AML standards. Other responsibilities include:• The reconciliation of possible matches of accounts lists such as OFAC & 314a;• Review and reconciliation of account activity that generates an AML rule violations;• Review of documentation for certain high risk accounts;• Responding to questions from Representatives and staff on AML policies;• Assisting in preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs);• Assisting with AML educational programs;• Keeping current with new AML and BSA regulations and policies;• Recommending modifications and improvement, as warranted, to AML/BSA policies;• Participation in the development of action plans for gaps, preparing corresponding reports for management;• Tracking operational statistics and preparing corresponding reports for management;• Assessing the effectiveness of data collection and analysis;• Projects as assignedQualifications:• Series 7 and 24 registrations are required. * S24 must be obtained within 3 months of hire.• Bachelor's degree from four-year college • Two years experience in the securities industry with a solid understanding of a large brokerage firm operational system.• Experienced in AML operations.• Proficient with Windows and MS applications such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook• Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbout AIG: American International Group, Inc.
